The Honda CR-V has received its facelift in the US market. Older, more conventional engines have been dropped, and a Hybrid variant has been added along with mild design tweaks to the exterior and interior.

The 2-litre naturally-aspirated petrol engine has been removed. The 1.5-litre turbocharged engine is now standard and the i-MMD hybrid powertrain that combines a 2-litre Atkinson cycle motor with 2 electric motors is being introduced. This system uses a single ratio gearbox with an electric clutch. You can learn about it here.

All variants no longer use a gear selector lever, but rather have selector buttons. The interior has been mildly redesigned, including new U.I. and graphics.
